Hilltop Digital was founded in 2009 and is led by Richard Glosser. Glosser is a senior digital media executive with an accomplished background across television, cable, digital, online video, social and mobile media.
Prior to Hilltop, Glosser was Executive Director of Emerging Media for Condé Nast Digital, where he managed the company's video, mobile and emerging media initiatives. Under his leadership, Glosser was responsible for all facets of video production, publishing, syndication and monetization for over a dozen different magazine and web brands including Style.com, Vogue.com, Epicurious, GQ, Glamour, Vanity Fair, The New Yorker and others. Glosser won a NY Emmy as Executive Producer and the International Academy of Visual Sciences, MIN, the Magazine Publishers Association and others have also recognized his efforts. Glosser also led mobile strategy, business development, advertising strategy and strategic Apple relations to support the launch of Conde’s early iPhone and iPad apps efforts.
Prior to joining Conde Nast, Glosser had senior leadership roles as SVP, Corporate Development at CSTV: College Sports Television (now CBS Sports Network); EVP/CRO of the, then leading, teen web site, Bolt Media, and a Unit Manager at NBC Sports. His early career was at Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE), where he was Founder and President of SPE's digital media division, Columbia TriStar Interactive, where he launched and managed all of the studio’s early ITV and Web efforts. During his eleven years at Sony, Glosser launched Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune online, helped launch SPE's basic cable network, Game Show Network, and helped form and lead their online games effort at Sony Online Entertainment which featured the hit game, Everquest.
Glosser has a BS from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Columbia Business School.
